One of the most common questions about the PhDr. distance learning program is about the time commitment. To put it simply, the time commitment depends heavily on the chosen thesis topic, the individual’s working style, and available time. Many students schedule regular time slots to work on their dissertations, for example, in the evenings or on weekends. The flexible structure of the distance learning program allows for independent organization of work phases and adjustment as needed. Experience shows that completing the program within the standard twelve months is feasible for working professionals. The free extension option of up to 24 months offers additional security and flexibility.

The PhDr. distance learning program is particularly suited for working professionals, executives, self-employed individuals, entrepreneurs, and academics in the fields of economics, management, and related disciplines. It also appeals to those with a strong interest in applied research and those who would like to work on scientific questions related to their professional practice. If you already hold a master’s degree or equivalent qualification and are prepared to work independently in an academic context, the PhDr. distance learning program offers a structured, realistic, and clearly planned path to a doctoral degree.
